Watching movies is a fun pastime, but the clients and their family also love performing. The elevated platform in front of the screen makes for a perfect stage for the karaoke system installed by Baumeister. This isn’t your run of the mill karaoke in a box system, however, as a Pro Video Color Bullet Camera has been added to the system, so the singer’s image can be projected onto the screen while he or she is belting out a song through a Shure ULXS24/58 Wireless Microphone. Should a couple want to do their best Sonny and Cher impression, a second microphone is available. All of the karaoke inputs are handled by a Rane MLM-82 Rack Mixer. Song lyrics that are available on the karaoke DVDs are played for the singers on a Sony KLV21SR2 21” LCD Display. Needless to say, this household is passionate about their karaoke.
The homeowners also wanted to have easy access to all of their music and movies at the touch of a button, so Baumeister installed both an Escient Fireball E-120 CD Librarian and an Escient Fireball DVDM-100 DVD Librarian in the racks. All of the zones throughout the house that are hooked up to this system have customized Creston panels and/or remotes for accessing and playing back anything from their collection that the homeowners’ hearts desire.
